You will have appropriate subject and assessment expertise within the UK education system, and have the ability to produce and revise material to a specified brief. You will be aware of the current educational climate and be familiar with new and evolving developments in your subject.

We have ongoing product support development opportunities. Tasks would vary in the length of time required, however we would always look to be flexible with deadlines to accommodate this work around your existing commitments. The brief will provide a direction for the content, as well as a preferred format, with the aim of creating high quality support for teachers at different stages of the qualification delivery. The support resources may include, for example, professional development training materials, schemes of work, candidate style answers, sample assessment materials, e-learning course content, recorded video presentations, or other teacher support content.

The ability to use IT confidently and effectively is essential to this role (this includes Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Developing and revising resources can be carried out at home and remuneration will be set on a task by task basis. You will need to use your own IT equipment to complete the tasks.

All applicants for this role are required to complete the associated exercise to demonstrate your suitability for the role. This can be found below:

Task:

Produce an engaging 1 hour lesson plan to cover one learning objective from the examined component of the AAQ Level 3 subject of your choice. This should be suitable for another teacher to deliver, particularly a non-specialist/newly qualified teacher. The lesson plan should include resource ideas. The suggested resource ideas could be hyperlinks/external activities or suggestions for activity creation, suitable for a Level 3 qualification (e.g. links to websites, videos, resources you think are suitable). There is no requirement to create activities/resources as part of this application task.
