OCR SR A Level Design and Technology Trainers

OCR is currently seeking Trainers for the following specifications:

A Level Design and Technology: Design Engineering (H404)

A Level Design and Technology: Product Design (H406)

The trainers will prepare for and deliver a range of courses related to these qualifications. The training courses are aimed particularly at supporting teachers in and out of specialism. You will use content provided by current examiners, alongside producing your own content focused on delivery in the classroom.

The Profile for this task provides details about the specific activities involved.

The fees will be approximately £20.80 per hour for producing materials (the number of hours will vary per commission) and £124 for delivering each session. The events will be online, starting from September 2025.

You will need appropriate subject expertise within the UK education system and the ability to deliver engaging and relevant training to teachers.

It is desirable that you are a current teacher. The ability to use IT systems and applications confidently is essential.

Please note, if you are involved in the production of live material, you cannot undertake training delivery tasks for OCR.
