We currently have new examiner vacancies for O Level Pakistan Studies: The History and Culture of Pakistan
This focuses on the Indian subcontinent from the 17th and 18th centuries to the emergence of present day Pakistan. Prior knowledge of the history of Pakistan is not required, all history examiners are welcome to apply.
Requirements are that applicants will:
- be educated to degree level in history or a related subject area, or have studied the history of South Asia and Pakistan studies in depth
- experience of teaching history or humanities
- have a PC/Mac, fast broadband and IT skills for marking on screen
Please note that we cannot accept applications from Pakistan or India based applicants.
Successful applicants will have:
- a keen eye for detail
- the ability to work well under pressure
- the ability to keep to deadlines
