To support our continued growth worldwide, we are expanding our examiner network, and inviting teachers to develop their professional practice by becoming Cambridge Examiners.

 

We currently have vacancies for IGCSE Malay as a Foreign Language

 

All applicants will:

  •  be native speakers of Malay
  •  have a minimum of three year's teaching experience of Malay as a Foreign Language at a level equivalent to IGCSE
  •  have a thorough knowledge of Malay grammar and spelling
  •  be willing to work in a team and follow direction from the Principal Examiner to ensure marking is of the required standard
  •  be available to attend an online standardisation meeting and carry out marking online in May-June
  •  be willing to receive constructive feedback on their work and respond in a positive manner
  •  have a reliable broadband connection and IT skills

 

Successful applicants will have:

  • a keen eye for detail
  • the ability to work under pressure
  • the ability to keep to deadlines

 

As an examiner you will be marking a specific number of scripts in line with approved marking instructions and to the required standard. For more information on the role of an examiner please visit our website. There will be payment per script marked.

 

 All marking is done online, from home. In cases where there is a compulsory meeting before marking begins, this will be held on MS Teams during Malaysia daytime hours.
