To support our continued growth worldwide, we are expanding our examiner network, and inviting teachers to develop their professional practice by becoming Cambridge examiners.
We currently have examiner vacancies for IGCSE First Language Chinese
Requirements are that applicants:
- have 2 years' experience of teaching IGCSE First Language Chinese (0509) or an equivalent qualification
- be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and have a high level of English (equivalent to CEFR level B2 or above)
- be educated to degree level or equivalent; Chinese Language and or Literature degree (preferable)
- will have a PC/Mac, fast broadband and IT skills
Successful applicants will:
- have a keen eye for detail
- have the ability to work well under pressure
- have the ability to keep to deadlines
As an examiner you will be marking a specific number of scripts in line with approved marking instructions and to the required standard. For more information on the role of an examiner please visit our website.

If you are applying from outside the UK and there is requirement to attend training in the UK expenses will only be paid for travel within the UK.
