To support our continued growth worldwide, we are expanding our examiner network, and inviting teachers to develop their professional practice by becoming Cambridge examiners.

 

We currently have vacancies for A Level History, with marking opportunities available on essay, source and historical interpretation papers. Further details of topics within the syllabus can be accessed here

You are not required to be a specialist on all topics within the syllabus as training and support will be provided.

 

You should:

  • have experience of teaching history
  • have a degree in history or a related specialism e.g. American Studies

 

Successful applicants will:

  • have a willingness to work with on-screen marking
  • have PC or Mac, fast broadband and IT skills
  • have a keen eye for detail
  • have the ability to keep to deadlines.

 

As an assistant examiner you will be marking a specific number of scripts in line with approved marking instructions and to the required standard. For more information on the role of an assistant examiner please visit
